- **Anonymous**: "This was a great vacation for a beach loving girl who lives in the upstate. This Shorewood condo was on the end/top floor allowing in much desired sunlight and unobstructed views. The porch had plenty of comfortable patio furniture to sit and drink in that ocean view. The grounds were well maintained and the people very friendly. The condo had comfortable beds for quiet nights of sleep after our days enjoying long beach walks. One oversight was the cleaning crew had overlooked some used silverware in the sink that we came across unpacking our food...we took care of that easily enough. great place to stay :)" (5/5)

In my search, I found 539 Shorewood and it proved to be a very satisfying find! We were a little worried because of some prior reviews we had read but to extend our vacation we took a chance. What a surprise when we opened the door!! The condo was very clean, bright and roomy with very nice furnishings. Yes, the kitchen appliances and w/d are older but they were very clean and work fine so not a problem for me. The view is fabulous and there is a large balcony making a perfect morning coffee spot! We were very pleased and will definitely consider renting this condo again." (5/5)

Just a very short distance (probably about 1-2 blocks) to get to Coligny Plaza. Sea Pines and the Lighthouse weren't far either, only a 10 minute ride in car to get there. We stayed in Shorewood #539 which was a beautiful condo, one of the largest we've ever stayed at while on vacation. It was an end unit but close to the elevators and was very quiet while we were there. Also loved that the owners had beach umbrellas and chairs in the closet which we used while there. Loved that it was a gated complex, not that we had any problems whatsoever. We couldn't get over how pretty and wide the beach is when the tide goes out and the waves were so very calm the whole week we were there. The pool was well kept and plenty of lounge chairs and tables available. I would definitely stay at Shorewood again on my next visit." (5/5)
